PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance server that allows a user to use history information on an image forming apparatus acquired during a trial operation even after the start of a full operation in remote maintenance of the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A maintenance server includes: a storage part; a maintenance part that, when receiving a notification from a license management server that manages a license defined in a trial contract to conduct a service, including remote maintenance of an image forming apparatus installed at a customer site that the expiration date of the license has been reached, stores, in the storage part, information collected from an image forming apparatus corresponding to the license the expiration date of which has been reached as history information, and subsequently stops a service related to the image forming apparatus corresponding to the license the expiration date of which has been reached; and a history management part that, when receiving a notification that a license has been provided after conclusion of a permanent contract, acquires the history information on an image forming apparatus corresponding to the provided license from the storage part and resumes provision of the service by using the acquired history information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
