PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging station and a power supply system enabling a plurality of users to use without delay.SOLUTION: The charging station includes: a power supply plug, connected to a power supply target, for charging a battery provided in the power supply target; a control unit for controlling to supply power to the power supply target; and an authentication unit for performing individual authenticating of the user. In order that the connection of the power supply plug with the power supply target does not released unintentionally, it is configured to lock the connection between the power supply plug and the power supply target. The charging station further includes a charge completion detection unit for detecting the full charge of the battery. On detection that the battery is fully charged in a state that the connection between a first power supply target, which is a power supply target possessed by a first user, and the power supply plug is locked, the control unit releases the lock if the individual authentication of the first user is not successful, on condition that the full charge of the battery is detected and the individual authentication of a second user different from the first user is successful.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
