PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffering device in a cloth automatic feeding machine in which a cloth standby part for temporarily keeping cloth on standby is provided, so that the cloth can be reserved.SOLUTION: A cloth automatic feeding machine performs the steps of: introducing cloth into a feed conveyor approximately in a center part in a conveyance direction; detecting left and right rear end parts by drawing the left and right of the cloth near each other; holding the left and right rear end parts at a delivery part; and feeding the cloth to a step. In order to allow a feeding operation in a cloth automatic feeding machine 10 to progress without stagnation, there is provided a cloth supply part 11 capable of supplying cloth in an amount more than the throughput of the feeding operation, and a cloth standby part 14 for temporarily keeping the cloth to be conveyed on standby is set in a stage prior to a feed conveyor 20 or a stage subsequent thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
