PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: smartphones have taken over an input method for personal computers and do not make use of advantages of a touch panel; mobile phone companies boast their unique input methods, which prevents unification of the methods.SOLUTION: A method of inputting Korean language includes classifying all characters into 16 groups and selecting one of the divided groups so as to select a consonant and a vowel to input a two-part character and select a consonant, vowel, and patchim to input three-part character, and thereby enabling input of the characters through three-time (399 characters) and four-time operations in a smartphone. As for a mobile phone, the input method for a smartphone is partially changed to enable input of the characters through three- to five-time key operations, which provides an input method requiring a far smaller number of times of key operations than the current one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
