PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for carburization having properties which was conventionally difficult to achieve such as enhancement of punchability and prevention of crystal grain coarsening and a machine construction component obtained from the steel sheet for carburization.SOLUTION: A steel sheet for carburization has a predetermined component composition, satisfies 0.01≤[Ti]-3.42[N]≤0.05 and has the number percentage of Ti carbonitride with a composition satisfying 2≤([C]/[N])≤10 of 80% or more, average circle-equivalent diameter thereof of 10 to 100 nm, average circle-equivalent diameter of cementite of 0.6 μm or less, one with aspect ratio of 2.0 or less of 80% or more and average crystal particle diameter of ferrite of 15 μm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
