PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a cylindrical tank, in which a jack-up rod of a jack-up device can be brought down to be collected without using a large-sized winch.SOLUTION: The construction method is provided for the cylindrical tank having a metallic inner tank and a concrete outer tank. It includes a step of assembling an annular knuckle part on the inner side of the side wall of the outer tank, a step of mounting the jack-up device having the jack-up rod between the side wall of the outer tank and the knuckle part, a step of lifting the knuckle part up using the jack-up device and mounting an inner tank side plate to the lower side of the lifted-up knuckle part to assemble the metallic inner tank, and a step of bringing the jack-up rod of the jack-up device down using a bring-down device having a driving source, a pulley group consisting of a fixed pulley and a movable pulley, and a wire bridged between the driving source and the pulley group, after the step of assembling the inner tank.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17 |
