PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device and the like that enable the application of branding without requiring revision of BMC FW.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus comprises: reading means that, when receiving a request of reading a file referred to by a management module managing the self communication apparatus in accordance with an object-oriented management schema that is mounted on a BMC and manages a non-homogeneous device from a management terminal with which the communication apparatus can communicate, reads the file from a prescribed storage place in the BMC and returns it to the management terminal; and update means that, when receiving the file updated using unique information corresponding to a branding destination of the self communication apparatus from the management terminal, updates the file in the storage place by using the updated file.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
