A hull stern arrangement comprises the combination of an appendage-carrying stern as described in Specification 641,667 with a counterpropeller. The counter-propeller may be constituted by the appendage having a deformation to ensure its distributing capacity, as shown in Figs. 1 and 3, or may be constituted by a rectifying rudder or by supplementary distributor appendages, or by a deformed horizontal wing. Various arrangements for single, twin, and triple screw vessels are described.</p> |
