PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a sugar included in a petal or a cup of a flower in a nondestructive manner.SOLUTION: There is provided a measurement device (1) to measure a sugar included in a petal or a cup of a flower. The measurement device (1) includes: a light source to irradiate a petal or a cup of a flower with light; a measurement unit to execute measurement processing of intensity of light emitted from the petal or the cup when light is emitted from the light source toward the flower; a storage unit to store an analytical model to be used in analysis processing of a sugar included in a petal or a cup; and a processing unit to execute the analysis processing. The processing unit includes a light intensity acquisition unit to acquire light intensity information from received light intensity measured by the measurement unit. The processing unit is configured to execute the analysis processing based on the analytical model and the light intensity information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
