PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for internal combustion engine capable of maintaining high HTHS viscosity at low viscosity.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition for internal combustion engine containing: a lubricant base oil; and 3 mass% to less than 40 mass% of an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer having the ethylene content of 30 to 85 mol%, 100°C kinetic viscosity of 10 to 5,000 mm/s, molecular weight distribution of 2.5 or less, the B value of 1.1 or more, and unsaturated bond amount of less than 0.5/1000 of carbon atoms. The lubricant composition has 100°C kinetic viscosity of 6.9 mm/s to less than 12.5 mm/s. The lubricant base oil consists of: mineral oil having 100°C kinetic viscosity of 2 to 7 mm/s, viscosity index of 105 or more, and flow point of - 10°C or less; and/or synthetic oil having 100°C kinetic viscosity of 1 to 7 mm/s, viscosity index of 120 or more, and flow point of -30°C or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
