PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member capable of suppressing flare or ghost caused by oblique incident light and a solid-state imaging device.SOLUTION: A cover member 5 includes: a transparent substrate capable of making light of a wavelength of 400 to 700 nm to pass; and an anti-reflection film 5b provided on at least one surface of a transparent substrate 5a. Average reflectance of light of a wavelength of 400 to 700 nm incident on at least one surface with an incident angle of 60° is less than or equal to 6%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
