PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the utilization efficiency of a transmission band from deteriorating when a station scrambles data generated by the station, inserts the data into a received bit stream, and transmits the resultant bit stream.SOLUTION: A CDR unit 300 receives a bit stream from the upstream of a communication system. A control code detection unit 301 detects a control code from the bit stream. An SR control unit 308 stores the phase of a de-scrambler 303 that de-scrambles the bit stream, and controls the operation of the de-scrambler 303. An SR control unit 322 stores the phase of a scrambler 314 that scrambles data to be transmitted, and controls the operation of the scrambler 314. A replacement insertion unit 321 performs replacement processing to replace part of the received bit stream with the scrambled data, insertion processing to insert the scrambled data into the received bit stream, and transmission processing to transmit the bit stream to the downstream of the communication system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
