PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet detection device which detects a sheet when the sheet contacts with a detection lever for detecting the presence of the sheet in a sheet width direction.SOLUTION: A sheet detection device includes: a detection lever 20 which can be rotated by a sheet pressing the detection lever; and a sheet detection sensor configured to detect the detection lever 20. The detection lever 20 can move in a sheet transfer direction and a sheet width direction. The detection lever 20 is rotated in the sheet width direction and rotated in the sheet transfer direction when being pressed in the sheet width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
