PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map data creation method, a map display method, a map data creation device, and a map display device capable of displaying character data reflecting the use state of a road.SOLUTION: A map data creation/display system includes: a use result storage/update server 300 for storing the use result of a road, and for updating the content; a character overlap determination part 410 for determining the presence/absence of the overlap of the display positions of character data corresponding to a road included in a predetermined range as the object of map creation; a use result acquisition part 420 for reading and acquiring the use result of each of a plurality of roads the display positions of the character data of which are determined to be overlapped by the character overlap determination part 410 from the use result storage/update server 300; and a display priority determination part 430 for determining the display priority of the character data whose display positions are determined to be overlapped by the character overlap determination part 410 by using the use result of the road acquired by the use result acquisition part 420.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
