PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of a user when operating the touch panel of a large-size video display device.SOLUTION: The video device is the video device capable of displaying a video in the display area of a display in which the touch panel is provided. The video device includes an acquisition part, a detection processing part, and a display processing part. The acquisition part is configured so as to acquire an image from a camera imaging an area facing the display area. The detection processing part is configured so as to detect the position of the face of a user facing the display area on the basis of the acquired image. The display processing part is configured so as to display a reduced operation image in which an operation image is reduced in the first area of a part of the display area which is the first area corresponding to the position of the face of the user on the basis of a detection result by the detection processing part, when the operation image for operating the video device is displayed in the display area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
