The invention relates to a protective device for a log splitting cone to be used in a wood splitter with rotary conical screw, intended to protect user's hands during the firewood splitting operation, the device being meant for households that need firewood for heating and cooked meal preparation purposes, as well as for commercial units specialized in firewood preparation. According to the invention, the device comprises a pushing plate (1) provided with a pushing handle (2) on which two protective plates (4 and 5) and two angle plates (10 and 11) are fixed, where, on each of the two protective plates (4 and 5), a flexible plate (13 and 14, respectively) is mounted. |
