A pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting lymphangiogenesis

The present invention relates to Forkhead box O3a (FoxO3a) protein or fused protein containing a DNA binding domain of Forkhead box O3a (FoxO3a) protein, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as an active ingredient for inhibiting lymphangiogenesis. The pharmaceutical composition effectively inhibits expression of vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) to suppress lymphangiogenesis, and thus is expected to be used widely for treating various cancers related with lymph node metastasis.
