PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which enables imaging with reduced distortion due to artifact.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a first sequence control part and a second sequence control part included in an MRI sequence control part 30; a first image generation part and a first calculation part included in an MRI data processing device 42; a second image generation part, a second calculation part, and a third image generation part. The first sequence control part collects first data and second data. The first image generation part generates a first image and a second image. The first calculation part identifies a distortion region of a slice position to calculate an acceleration factor. The second sequence control part collects data while thinning sampling positions in a k space on the basis of the acceleration factor. The second image generation part generates an image. The second calculation part calculates a region for wearing a mask from the data. The third image generation part generates an image in which data on regions other than the region for wearing a mask are removed by applying the mask.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
