摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which enables the suppression of heat generation of a battery in an abnormal event such as an internal short.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a positive electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a first step (S101) where complex particles are produced by causing insulative inorganic oxide particles to deposit on expanded graphite including, between graphite layers, a gas generating substance which releases gas when heated; a second step (S102) where a granulated body is produced by mixing the complex particles, a positive electrode active material and a binding material and granulating the resultant mixture; a third step (S103) where a positive electrode mixture layer is formed by shaping the granulated body into a sheet-like form by compression molding; and a fourth step (S104) where the positive electrode mixture layer is disposed on a positive electrode current collector foil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
