PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capability of removing air bubbles occurring in a liquid supply passage.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head has: a discharge port for discharging a liquid; and a liquid supply passage 10 for supplying the liquid to the discharge port. The liquid supply passage 10 has a first passage formation member 11; and a second passage formation member 12. The first passage formation member 11 forms a top surface 16 of the liquid supply passage 10 which is positioned at the upper side in a vertical direction during operation of the liquid discharge head. The second passage formation member 12 forms a bottom surface 17 of the liquid supply passage 10 which is positioned at the lower side in the vertical direction during the operation of the liquid discharge head. The bottom surface 17 has a surface structure which enables air bubbles to occur more easily than the top surface 16 and is different from that of the top surface 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
