PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily manufacturing a low molecular acrylic polymer excellent in durability such as thermal stability and an acrylic polymer manufactured by the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of an acrylic polymer having a step of radical polymerization of a monomer component containing (meth)acrylic acid ester (Step I) and a step of hydrogenation of the polymer obtained in the Step I (Step II). There is provided an acrylic polymer having number average molecular weight of less than 1000, weight average molecular weight of less than 1500, content of a sulfur component of less than 2 ppm, content of a phosphorus component of less than 2 ppm, content of a metal component of less than 100 ppm and content of a terminal vinyl group of 0 mass% to 1 mass% inclusive.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
