PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid injection valve that enables deformation of a shape of flat spray spread to form a fan shape by using switching spray, a spray generation device including the fluid injection valve and an engine.SOLUTION: Switching spray 5A generated by a switching nozzle hole 391 three-dimensionally deforms a shape of flat spray 6A generated by a slit nozzle hole 390 by changing directions of a long axis and a shot axis at a predetermined downstream position and thus deforming the cross sectional shape. Since the switching spray 5A and the flat spray 6A after such deformation are made close to each other or gather together due to the Coanda effect, penetration force can be damped rapidly, and the deformation increases the effective surface area of the spray so as to further promote progress of atomization. Thus, a fuel injection valve 1 enabling both of atomization of the spray and improvement of design flexibility of the spray shape, spray direction, penetration force and injection amount distribution can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 19 |
