PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a delay in provision of music information.SOLUTION: An information providing device 10 includes: a speed analysis part 52 that sequentially specifies a performance speed V of a performance of an object musical piece by a user; a performance analysis part 54 that sequentially specifies a time point T of the performance by the user in the object musical piece; an adjustment amount setting part 56 that sets an adjustment amount α according to a temporal change of the performance speed V specified by the speed analysis part 52; and an information providing part 58 that provides the user with music information M that corresponds to a time point, by the adjustment amount α, after the time point T of the performance specified by the performance analysis part 54 in the object musical piece in parallel with the performance by the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
