PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting machine which allows a cutting machine to perform cutting works identical to each other in both of forward and backward directions for cutting feed.SOLUTION: In a cutting machine, when causing cutting feed means 5 to feed a plate-like work 2 for cutting in forward direction 100, a cutting direction-designating unit 200 designates, as a rotating direction of a first cutting blade 60, a clockwise direction when viewed from the side of a motor 62, and designates, as a rotating direction of a second cutting blade 70, a counterclockwise direction when viewed from the side of the motor 62. On receipt of the designation from the cutting direction-designating unit 200, a switching unit 300 selects an operation for causing the first cutting blade 60 to cut into the plate-like work 2, and then, the first cutting blade 60 performs a down cutting of a street in the forward direction 100. Then, the switching unit 300, which selected to the operation for causing the first cutting blade 60 to cut into the plate-like work in the forward direction 100, selects an operation for causing the second cutting blade 70 to cut into the plate-like work 2 in the feed for cutting by the cutting feed means 5 in a backward direction 101. Then, the second cutting blade 70 performs a down cutting of the street in the backward direction 101 as well.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
