PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a data input/output between a portable telephone terminal and a camera, at an inexpensive price without impairing users' convenience, by using an existing fixed telephone connected to a fixed telephone network and capable of communicating with other fixed telephones.SOLUTION: In a monitoring system, a master machine 10 stores, in a storage part, setting information representing a detection area of a target to be detected by a sensor, and transmits setting information to a camera including the built-in sensor or associated with the sensor (a baby monitor camera 30C) to set a detection parameter including the detection area. When the camera detects a predetermined state set by the detection parameter inside the detection area, the master machine 10 transmits detection notification information to a smart phone 50. The smart phone 50 displays, on a display input part, a detection information screen by the detection notification information transmitted from the master machine 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
