PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous resin for a floor polish that has remarkably excellent durability performance (water resistance, black heel mark resistance) and further has excellent recoatability, while having excellent removal performance (releasability).SOLUTION: An aqueous resin for a floor polish is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (a) to synthesize an aqueous resin (A) and mixing the aqueous resin (A) with a compound (B) having two or more hydrazide groups in the molecule. The aqueous resin (A) has a glass transition temperature of 45-80°C. The polymerizable unsaturated monomer (a) comprises a monomer having a carbonyl group and an ethylenic double bond. The hydrazide group of the component (B) is added in an amount of 0.5-5.0 equivalents with respect to 1 equivalent of the carbonyl group existing in the component (A).SELECTED DRAWING: None |
