PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair cosmetic capable of imparting smoothness and gloss to the hair and improving the combing properties of the hair.SOLUTION: There is provided a hair cosmetic containing 1 wt.ppm or more of a collagen-like synthetic polypeptide represented by the following formula (I).
