The invention relates to a system for reducing the power needed to operate energy willow harvesting and chipping machines, intended for the drive of the reduction gear which drives the apparatuses for cutting and supplying the energy willow harvesting and chipping machines, by taking over the motion from the chipping disc, with a view to using the power developed upon reaching the operating rotary speed. According to the invention, the system for reducing the power needed to operate energy willow harvesting and chipping machines comprises an assembled chipping device (a) and an assembled torque limiter (b), where the assembled chipping device (a) consists of a chipping disc (5) on which some cutters (6) and some throwing blades (4) are mounted, the chipping disc (5) being fixed on a shaft (7) which receives the motion from the power source through a belt transmission, not represented, with a belt pulley (1), an intermediate shaft (2) and a one-way device (3) and, from the assembled chipping device (a), the motion is transmitted by a belt (9) to the torque limiter (b) consisting of a grooved hub (10), some disc springs (11), some metal asbestos discs (12) and a belt pulley (13). |
