BIGUANIDE COMPOUNDS AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a biguanide compound and a use thereof. More particularly, the present invention relates to biguanide derivative exhibiting excellent efficacy in suppressing cancer cell proliferation, cancer metastasis, and cancer recurrence; a manufacturing method thereof; and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as effective component. According to the present invention, biguanide derivative exhibits efficacy in suppressing cancer cell proliferation, cancer metastasis, and cancer recurrence with little dose in comparison to a conventional drug. Therefore, the biguanide derivative can be usefully used to treat various cancers such as uterine cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, brain cancer, rectal cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, blood cancer, liver cancer, etc. Also, the biguanide derivative can be used to suppress proliferation of cancer cells and cancer cell metastasis.
