FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture. Method of detecting sharpness of cutting edges of chopping blades on a rotationally driven cutting drum of a forage harvester with a counter-blade and a grinder with a grindstone for sharpening of chopping blades, characterised in that through at least one electrode as a contact sensor located behind cutting edge of blade surface, at least, one blade, and time interval contact at least one electrode with blade surface is determined. Proposed device comprises at least one electrode as a contour sensor, which touches located behind cutting edge of blade surface, at least one chopping blade.EFFECT: simple and reliable method of determining sharpness of cutting edges of blades of drum of agricultural machine so that machine operates as efficiently as possible in power aspect.15 cl, 13 dwg |
