The signaling device (10) has a body (20) containing a thermally triggered charge generating combustion gas, a reservoir containing a fluid, and a delivery device for delivery of pressurized fluid outside the reservoir through the action of combustion gases. A visual signaling element (27), which visually signals combustion of charge, is visible at an outer peripheral area of the signaling device after combustion of charge. An independent claim is also included for a mechanical system.
