FIELD: transportation.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for monitoring and controlling traffic flows on automobile roads. In disclosed traffic control method on automobile roads average distance between cars at control points of main line is determined. Comparing it with preset value, signal is generated for control of inflow of vehicles to main road from all adjacent and crossing streets and lines to control point by traffic lights so as to provide optimum distance and throughput close to maximum.EFFECT: provided is traffic jams formation prevention, reduction of vehicles speed and throughput of main lines.1 cl, 2 dwg |
