The present invention relates to a sintering device and a sintering method. According to the present invention, the sintering device includes: multiple sintering carriages arranged to move along a moving path, wherein a raw material is embedded inside the sintering carriages; an ignition installed in the upper part of the sintering carriage and injecting a flame onto the upper surface of the raw material; multiple wind boxes arranged in the lower part of the sintering carriage along the moving path and sintering the raw material by sucking air to the lower side of the sintering carriage; a cooler installed on one side of the moving path and having a space for accommodating a sintering ore discharged from the sintering carriage, wherein the cooler supplies a cooler gas to the raw material; and a first circulation unit connected to the cooler and supplying at least a part of the cooler gas, which is supplied to the raw material, to the upper part of the sintering carriage. Therefore, the sintering device can improve combustion efficiency and productivity.
