The utility model discloses a blade hub for connection between a motor shaft and fan blades of a ceiling fan. The blade hub comprises a central base, a plurality of connectors securely fixed to and extending from the peripheral edges of said central base, each of said connectors having a pair of spaced hollow connecting arms having a central gap adapted to receive an inner end of the fan blade of the ceiling fan, and opposed sliding lock assembly snugly inserted into each of said pair of spaced hollow connecting arms. The sliding lock assembly includes a locking member having a central bore adapted to accommodate a locking bolt, a centrally protruding inner face and an outer face provided with slot to receive the head of said bolt on one end and a nut on the opposite end, a vibration dampener arranged in between said hollow connecting arm and said locking member; and a stopper plate securely attached to the outer face of said locking member, to cover said vibration dampener to prevent it from sliding out from said hollow connecting arms. |
