A non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery (100) is equipped with a negative electrode current collector foil (21), and a negative electrode laminated layer (22) arranged on the negative electrode current collector foil. The negative electrode laminated layer comprises a plurality of assembly particles. Each of the assembly particles includes a negative electrode active material (2), and a film (4). The film is formed on the surface of the negative electrode active material. The film includes a first film (4a) formed on the surface, and a second film (4b) formed on the first film. The first film contains a carboxymethyl cellulose polymer. The second film contains a polyacrylic acid polymer. Provided in the present invention is the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, which has both cycle durability and preservative durability.
