The present invention provides a throttle valve unit applying a driver′s non-acceleration intention, installed on a suction pipe (4) for making external air flow into an engine and adjusting an opening degree of a throttle valve (5) adjusting an opening degree of the suction pipe (4), which arranges a plurality of driving units for adjusting the opening degree of the throttle valve (5) and makes an electronic control unit (3, ECU) control one selected among the driving units to be connected to the throttle valve (5) according to a signal output from an acceleration pedal (1). A throttle valve control method applying a driver′s non-acceleration intention comprises: a sensed value input step (S120) of receiving values measured by a plurality of sensors installed in a vehicle for determining a driver′s driving intention; a driving intention determination step (S130) of making the ECU (3) determine the driver′s driving intention with the values input by the sensors; and a non-acceleration control step (S141) of, if the ECU (3) determines that the driver has no intention of accelerating the vehicle, operating an opening degree amount of the throttle valve (5) to an opening degree amount in an idle state of the engine using one among the driving units. |
