The present specification relates to a building automation system, a facilities control apparatus included therein, and a method for controlling the facilities control apparatus, and more particularly to a building automation system which, in order to achieve improvement on conventional technology, receives an identification number, i.e., a basis for construction of firmware, from the outside and then constructs the firmware, so communication between a first network and a second network is easily constructed and an internal capacity and configuration of the apparatus controlling communication can be improved, to a facilities control apparatus included therein, and to a method for controlling the facilities control apparatus. The facilities control apparatus for a building automation system comprises: a storage unit which stores firmware adapted to construct communication between a first network using a first protocol and a second network using a second protocol; and a control unit which receives an identification number, i.e., a basis for construction of the firmware, from the outside, constructs the firmware based on the identification number, stores the firmware in the storage unit, and controls communication between the first network and the second network. |
