PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method capable of suppressing unevenness of dot diameters.SOLUTION: An image recording method includes: the step of giving an ink including a pigment and an anionic resin particle to a recording medium using a recording head of an inkjet system; and the step of giving a liquid composition for destabilizing a dispersion state of the pigment in the ink to the recording medium so as to at least partially overlap an area of giving the ink.
