PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic welding device for welding a first component to a second component by means of friction welding or by means of pressing the pre-heated components against each other.SOLUTION: A plastic welding device 1 comprises a first fixture 22 and a second fixture, both being arranged at a first support 20 and a second support 30, respectively. The first fixture 22 is further movable by a first drive 24 with respect to the first support 20 in a first direction linearly between a first position and a second position. The movement along the first direction is defined by a first imaginary spherical coordinate system, the origin of which is arranged in the first position of the first fixture 22. The z-axis as a first z-axis (z) extends in the direction of the second support 30. A first inclination angle between the first z-axis which is positive in the direction of the second support 30 and the first direction is 0≤υ≤π/2, whereby a first component in the first fixture 22 can be brought into engagement with a second component in the second fixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
