PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatic switching between a function as a transmission side device and a function as a reception side device in a device for transmitting or receiving video in accordance with a video radio transmission standard to transmit video by one-to-one radio communication.SOLUTION: A device for transmitting or receiving video in accordance with a video radio transmission standard to transmit video by one-to-one radio communication comprises: a connection control unit for controlling the establishment of connection in accordance with the video radio transmission standard between the device and a connection destination device; and a state change unit for causing the state of any one of the device and the connection destination device to be changed prior to the establishment of connection if both device and connection destination device are in a transmission side state functioning as a transmitter side device of video or both device and connection destination device are in a reception side state functioning as a receiver side device of video.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
