PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the depletion of Liin a positive electrode mixture layer and a positive electrode mixture layer even in the case of repeatedly performing a charge and a discharge at a high rate.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode having a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode mixture layer provided on the positive electrode current collector and including a positive electrode active material; and a negative electrode having a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode mixture layer provided on the negative electrode current collector and including a negative electrode active material. The positive electrode mixture layer has a density of 1.5-2.8 g/cm. The positive electrode active material has a hollow structure. The positive electrode active material is 0.8-1.4 m/g in specific surface area, 3 μm or larger in average particle diameter, and 0.8 to less than 1 in spheroidicity. The negative electrode mixture layer is 0.8-1.5 g/cmin density. The negative electrode active material has a spheroidicity of 0.8 to less than 1.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
