PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine that enables improvement of fuel economy and can prevent occurrence of a dilution phenomenon of engine oil.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine includes: temperature rise means 49 for injecting fuel to raise a temperature of a filter 56 when filter regeneration determination means 52 determines that a regeneration processing operation is necessary; charge rate detection means 54 for detecting a charge rate of a battery 34; stop time detection means 57 for detecting stop time of the internal combustion engine 33; and an EV traveling mode of stopping the operation of the internal combustion engine for traveling by driving motors 31, 32. When the stop time of the internal combustion engine is longer than predetermined time, fuel is injected by the temperature rise means so as to intermittently repeat a first injection pattern in which fuel is injected in first injection amount per unit time and then injected in second injection amount larger than the first injection amount. When the stop time of the internal combustion engine detected by the stop time detection means is shorter than the predetermined time, fuel is injected so as to perform a second injection pattern in which fuel is intermittently injected in first injection amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
