PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably improve the suction efficiency of liquid.SOLUTION: A liquid cooled screw compressor 1 comprises: female and male rotors 20 that rotate while engaging with each other; and a casing 10 in which a suction port 11 that sucks fluid from a radial direction of the rotors 20, a suction space 12 connected to the suction port 11, and a rotor chamber 13 that communicates with the suction space 12 and houses the rotors 20 are formed. The suction space 12 and the rotor chamber 13 are made to communicate with each other in a radial direction and an axial direction of the rotors 20, and a shielding member 41 that covers suction side end surfaces 20a of the rotors 20 on the side of the suction port 11 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
