PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary device for improving apnea syndrome during sleep in which a set in an oral cavity is easy, a risk of swallowing an instrument is eliminated, a manufacturing cost can be lowered, and an airway can be secured during sleep.SOLUTION: An auxiliary device 1 for improving apnea syndrome during sleep comprising an elastic material capable of being inserted in the mouth includes an oral cavity insertion elastic material 2 having a convex bow shape and a plate-like form, and a tabular lip clamping elastic material 3 opposed in the vertical direction in the front end side. The lip clamping elastic material 3 comprises a substantially rectangular shape having a longitudinal length holdable with a lip 10 from a front tooth 11 and a lateral width holdable with the lip 10. The oral cavity insertion elastic material 2 has a longitudinal length in which a front end is the same as the front end of the lip holding elastic material 3 and a rear end comes close to a soft palate 12, and a lateral width in which a range opposed to the lip holding elastic material 3 has the lateral width being the same as the lip holding elastic material 3 and which can be abutted with a cheek 20 side of a mouth floor 15 in the rear from the opposed range.
