PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packaging a rod-like sushi that sets a direction of a packaging and conveying work to a longitudinal direction of a rectangular sheet that winds and packages the outer periphery of a sushi body when a work for wrapping the outer periphery of the rod-like sushi with a film sheet is performed, which can shorten time and labor for the packaging work as much as possible, and can also simplify a structure of a packaging sheet.SOLUTION: A method for packaging a rod-like sushi which packages the rod-like sushi with a laver sheet-involving rectangular sheet and an end face wrapping piece for wrapping the end face of the rod-like sushi includes: a step of conveying the rectangular sheets in parallel in a direction in series to a longitudinal direction; and a step of housing the rod-like sushi in a winding rectangular sheet while wrapping both end faces of the rod-like sushi with the additional provided end face wrapping piece when the rod-like sushi body is wound by the rectangular sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
