An SDN switch (901) receives an energy-saving setting message that is sent by an SDN controller (902) and comprises an energy-saving instruction, and performs energy-saving setting on a corresponding port according to the energy-saving instruction, thereby realizing flexible control on energy-saving of the port of the SDN switch (901).
