PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic device for root crops and plants with long roots capable of solve problems in which though it is required to stimulate roots and make an underground part deep so as to cultivate root crops with hydroponics, soil is not used in the hydroponics, roots and seedlings cannot be supported if deepening the root part, and sowing seeds and stimulation cannot be carried out.SOLUTION: In an intermittence siphon culture medium tank 1, a cylindrical material is vertically placed, cotton-like substance, sand or granular plastic, instead of soil, is put into the cylindrical material. A culture medium is poured from an upper part of the intermittence siphon culture medium tank or an intermittence siphon draining device 3, water is flown into a culture medium pipe 5, and water is accumulated in all intermittence siphon culture medium tanks with gravity. When reaching a prescribed water level, the intermittence siphon culture medium tanks are actuated to drain; thereafter the drain is completely stopped. Repeating supplying and draining, stimulation to roots and raising crops can be allowed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
