PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost for constructing a system for estimating a position of a mobile device 70 that emits radio waves.SOLUTION: A position estimation system 100 for estimating a position of a mobile device 70, includes: a plurality of radio communication units 11-13, 21-23; first and second sub information processing apparatuses 10, 20; and a main server 30. The first and second sub information processing apparatuses 10, 20 collect field intensity of radio waves emitted from the mobile device 70 and received by the radio communication units 11 or the like, and a device ID of the mobile device 70, from each of the radio communication units 11 or the like, to determine a first candidate/second candidate, which is a candidate of information indicating a position of the mobile device 70.
