PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate excellent in mechanical characteristic and capable of being used as a light guide body, and a manufacturing method of the laminate.SOLUTION: A laminate has a clad layer to be a coating film or laminate film having a lower refractive index than that of a core layer, on both surfaces of the core layer. In a manufacturing method of a laminate, a clad layer having a lower refractive index than that of a core layer is subjected to coating processing or laminate processing, on both surfaces of a sheet forming the core layer.
