PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower improving efficiency of a drive source by performing defrosting operation, performing defrosting with exothermic heat due to a fan itself, only as needed.SOLUTION: An air blower includes a state switching unit switching between an action state in which an alternation magnetic field acts on each closed coil of a coil unit between itself and a magnetic field generation unit 10, and a non-action state in which the alternation magnetic field does not act. The state switching unit rotates the coil unit together with a fan 8 by driving a motor 6, in the action state of the alternation magnetic field. Consequently, induction current flows to each closed coil to generate electric power, the electric power is converted to heat energy to generate heat, and thereby the fan 8 is heated with the heat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
